High Criteria Inc. Announces the Immediate Availability of Liberty Web Access, Version 5.1. for Digital Asset Management

High Criteria Inc, a world leader in computer audio / video recording systems, today announced the immediate availability of the newest version of Liberty Web Access (LWA) for managing recordings and other digital assets. LWA is of particular interest to courts and law enforcement organizations that generate significant volumes of digital material, and must manage and retain this material over an extended period of time.

Liberty Web Acess (LWA) is a Server based application that executes under Microsoft's Internet Information Service (IIS) facility. Running under IIS, LWA allows authorized access to real-time recording activities, and also provides the ability to search for, find and review previously developed digital assets, such as recording files and other digital materials.

Enhancements in LWA Version 5.1 include:

• Within the Recorder page controls, we have added the ability to reset the playback to an earlier point in the broadcast. This new facility allows the user to review older parts of the recording, without interrupting the live broadcast feed of the recording.
• Within all of the LWA services, new audit files are created. These audit files maintain details about which authorized users watched and listened to live broadcasts.
• The search results facility has been updated and will now only show results for which the requestor is authorized to playback or review.
• New authorization tests can include the ability to restrict control of the recording rooms to an authorized subset of Active Directory users.
• Rules relating to the LWA folder structure have been relaxed to allow additional flexibility in allocating folders to different drives.
• A number of other internal updates and enhancements.

Version 5.1 of Liberty Web Access is available immediately from Liberty Recording, or through your local, authorized Liberty Recorder reseller.
