High Criteria Inc. Announces the Immediate Availability of the Liberty Court Recorder, Version 8.4.

High Criteria Inc, a world leader in computer audio / video recording systems, today announced the immediate availability of the newest version of the Liberty Court Recording system for recording courtroom and other legal proceedings. The Liberty Court Recorder is a digital recording application that runs on a PC or laptop and records multiple audio channels directly to the computer hard-drive.

The Liberty System offers a state-of-the-art recording system to capture the court record. The system also supports an add-on facility for remote conferencing that is specific to the courtroom and replaces general-purpose conferencing systems.

Enhancements in Version 8.4 include:

• The Virtual Courtroom Remote Conferencing facility now supports users on iOS and Android devices. Such users can now connect to the Liberty Virtual Courtroom and be recorded on their own separate audio channel.
• The system Remote Conferencing facility now supports up to 4 simultaneous interpreters speaking simultaneously in 4 different languages. Other parties in the conference can select whatever different language is applicable and balance between that language and the language spoken in the court. The audio spoken by any or all of the interpreters can be directed to one or more assisted listening devices channels for simultaneous listening by anyone in the courtroom.
• The system now allows for any hardware audio / video source to be designated as a part-time channel. This facility will most often be used for devices such as evidence cameras or other cameras that are not used continually during a court session.
• Improvements have been made to indicate the active channels in the confidence monitoring facility.
• A number of other internal updates and enhancements.

Version 8.4 of both the Liberty Recorder and the no-cost Player are available immediately. The Player may be downloaded from the High Criteria web site at www.LibertyRecording.com.
