High Criteria Inc. Announces the Immediate Availability of the Liberty Court Recorder, Version 8.6.

High Criteria Inc, a world leader in computer audio / video recording systems, today announced the immediate availability of the newest version of the Liberty Court Recording system for recording courtroom and other legal proceedings. The Liberty Court Recorder is a digital recording application that runs on a PC or laptop and records multiple audio channels directly to the computer hard-drive.

The Liberty System offers a state-of-the-art recording system to capture the court record. The system also supports an add-on facility for remote conferencing that is specific to the courtroom and replaces general-purpose conferencing systems.

Enhancements in Version 8.6 include:

• The ability to import CSV files for use with the pre-defined bookmarks facility.
• The ability for Part-Time-Channel IP devices, such as IP cameras and Wolfvision devices, to reconnect dynamically during recording, without interrupting the recording. This facility is enganged in the Part-Time-Channel "Hardware" configuration settings by using the "Attempt to restore video after errors" checkbox.
• The Toolbar now includes a "Broadcast" button that allows the operator to toggle the Broadcast function off and on.
• Additional Hybrid / Virtual Courtroom facilities include:
  • Support for SIP connection dial-out.
  • The ability to assign multiple different Roles to the same recording channel
  • The ability to place people directly into Conference Mode when they are moved from the Lobby.
  • The ability to rename the Private Rooms.
  • Saving the event log of remote conferencing into the dcr file.
• A number of other internal updates and enhancements.

Version 8.6 of both the Liberty Recorder and the no-cost Player are available immediately. The Player may be downloaded from the High Criteria web site at www.LibertyRecording.com.
